Code of Conduct

Purpose

The Purpose of this Code of Conduct is to define the principles and rules that guide our employee’s behavior and decision-making process. It helps maintain a professional and ethical environment.

Scope

This Code applies to all employees of MIL Shipping AS, including full-time, part-time, temporary staff and contractors. It covers conduct both within and outside the workspace as it relates to job responsibilities.

  • Protect sensitive and confidential information
  • Strive to ensure that operations are consistent with legal principles applicable in the country of operation
  • Not engage in or support the use of child labor and support the elimination of all forms of forced labor
  • Not discriminate in hiring, compensation, access to training, promotion, termination or retirement based on race, caste, national origin, religion, age, disability, gender, marital status, sexual orientation, union membership or political affiliation
  • Not tolerate harassment, including sexual harassment, under any circumstances. Responsibility lies with all employees to ensure that harassment does not occur
  • Prohibit bribery in all business transactions that are conducted directly with third parties, subsidiaries, joint representatives, consultants, brokers, contractors, suppliers or any other
  • Comply with our Contractors and Clients anti-corruption policies and procedures
